Ceramic industries in Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu the called as the “Country of Tamils” is one among the 28 states of India. The capital of this state is Chennai and it’s the largest city in the state. This state is bordered by Pondicherry, Karnataka, AP, and Kerala. Bay of Bengal and Indian Ocean also border this state. This state is the eleventh largest state in terms of area and it’s the seventh most populated state. It’s the most urbanised state in whole India, as it has the highest number of the business ventures. There are many big offices situated in Tamil Nadu. Even many manufacturing and engineering units are located in this place. Automobile Industry also has its place over here. It manufactures railway coaches, motorcycles, cars, tanks, spare part, tyres and even heavy vehicles. All the major automobile companies like Hyundai, Nissan, Ford, Caterpillar etc have their plant in Tamil Nadu. When it comes to ceramic industries Tamil Nadu also has its name. The state has abundance of mineral reservoir for the production of ceramic goods like feldspar, quartz, Limestone, silica sand, bauxite, clay, iron ore etc. It’s endowed with high deposit of feldspar and quartz which are exported to many parts of the world from Tamil Nadu. Feldspar is mainly used in ceramic industries. Ceramic and cement industries are budding in this state because of abundance of limestone is found in this area.
