Ceramic industries in Rajasthan
Rajasthan is the largest state of India in terms of area. It borders Pakistan to the west and Punjab to the north. Mount Abu is also famous as hill station and the Dilwara Temple in Abu is the sacred place of Jain. Ceramic industries are growing faster in Rajasthan. From past many years it is the home for the largest ceramics like porcelain units, bone-china, insulators, tiles etc. All industries are located in Bhilwara, Bhiwadi, Jaipur, Bikaner etc. Rajasthan leads all other state in terms of clay production and it includes 40% of the clay production, even the quality of clay obtained is premium and first class. This clay is used in the manufacturing of other ceramic goods. Raw material for the production of ceramic good are exported from this place. These materials are of the finest quality and are famous throughout the world. The ceramic companies of this state produce soda feldspar, quartz, dolomite limestone, quick lime powder, calcined quick lime etc and export it to other countries.
